Popularität ist eine abstrakte Größe. Bei der Bewertung von Websites wird diese aber messbar. Die Messgröße hierfür ist der „PageRank“. Die Bewertungsgrundlage bilden die eingehenden Links auf die entsprechende Website. Vereinfacht gilt also: je mehr Links auf eine Website leiten, desto höher
ist ihr PageRank.
