Plugin
„Kommt noch was dazu?“ Will man eine Software erweitern oder in bestimmten Abschnitten verändern, sind „Plugin“ genannte Zusatzmodule das Mittel der Wahl. Diese werden vom SoftwareNutzer installiert und dienen dazu, die entsprechende Software seinen Wünschen entsprechend anzupassen. Die Einbindung von Plugins erfolgt über Schnittstellen in der Software. Ohne die Hauptsoftware sind Plugins jedoch nicht arbeitsfähig.
